Many universities in Europe provide education both in English and in their native language. Mostly, our students prefer education in English. However, if you are going to choose a department in the native language of the country, many universities will require you to provide a B2-C2 level of proficiency. For example, in Germany, if you want to study in a department in German, depending on your department and university of choice, you will need to provide a score between B2 and C2 from exams such as Daaf and Goethe.

The exams you need to take depends on the country and the department; however, the one exam you will always need to take is the language exam. Considering that you decide to apply to a department in English, the first requirement is for you to provide a level of English acceptable by the university. Apart from that, many universities may expect you to take an admission exam, such as TOLC, TIL, SAT. Finally, some universities may carry out online interviews with the prospective students.

Unfortunately, the language exams carried out in Turkey are not accepted abroad, yet. Instead, you need to apply with a score from a standardized test of English, such as IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC etc. Since the format of the exam is easier and more familiar, we suggest our students take IELTS.
